György Balássy, electrical engineer, is currently developing the LastPass password management platform as an architect. Prior to joining the LastPass team, he worked on several LogMeIn products as principal engineer and engineering manager, and taught web solutions development at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He played a significant role in the introduction of the Microsoft .NET platform in Hungary as a speaker, consultant, co-author of several books and host of meetup series. In 2004, he was the first person in Hungary to receive the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award for his community activities.
