He graduated from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in 2001 with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications and a Master's degree in Multimedia Technologies.\\nIn 2009, he defended his dissertation on continuous speech recognition and natural language processing and obtained a PhD in Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, also at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.\\nSince 2004, he has been a full-time lecturer at Sapientia University of Transylvania, while he has been a postdoctoral researcher (2010-2013), then Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering (2014-2020) and since 2021, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Sapientia University of Transylvania, T&#xE2;rgu Mure&#x219;, Hungary.\\nHis research interests include speech signal processing, IoT systems and Java-based technologies.\\nSince 2014 he has been the President of the Gyula V&#xE1;lyi Mathematical Society.\\nSince 2023, he has been President of the Transylvanian Hungarian Society of Engineering Sciences, Section of Electrical Engineering and Energy and Co-Chair of the Samokt-Enelko Multiconference.
