His research areas\u2014besides the history of philosophical and political thought\u2014include education policy, minority theory, and the history of minority ideas. Author of several monographs, volumes, and scholarly studies. In recognition of his contributions to Hungarian scholarship beyond the borders, he received the Arany J\u00e1nos Medal of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2020.
