Dr. Buttyán Levente graduated as a computer engineer from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the BME in 1995, obtained his Ph.D. from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, and has been a Hungarian Academy of Sciences doctor since 2022. His research interests include security protocol design and analysis, security enhancement mechanisms in wireless embedded systems, and detection and analysis of computer viruses. He has been involved in several international research projects, published nearly 200 papers in national and international journals and conference proceedings, co-authored two textbooks and four patents, and co-edited several international journals between 2008 and 2014. He is one of the founders of Ukatemi Technologies, leading and managing the company’s expertise, development and educational activities in industrial environments.
